The last post on this blog was April 2014. Lots has happened since then. The nuts and blots of it are pretty much the same, still living in the same house still doing pretty much the same jobs. The biggest trauma to the family has been the loss of our dog, Teddy. He had a chronic and degenerating kidney failure that lasted for about a year and change and finally we had to say goodbye to our little buddy in the fall of last year. The next big thing that happened was I lost my job at Disney due to some restructuring of the entire Quality Assurance organization for Parks and Resorts Technology. A month after my last day there I landed a job at Amazon as QA Manager for their Prime Now service.
Midori continues to work for KPMG reviewing tax returns. This allows her to work from home. (Really from anywhere she has an internet connection) She is currently in Japan for the month of June.
Emili is going to Bellevue College and working in retail in Redmond. They schedule her for as many hours as they can, and I don't think she likes working so much, but I have not heard her complain about the money. She turned 21 in March and is living with us here in Sammamish, so she should be able to save quite a lot.
That is about all that is going on here. I don't think anyone actually reads these posts (and why should they, with only one post a year or so) but if you are reading it and want more frequent updates, please just drop me a line. I'll see what I can do.

Seahawks are losing to Greenbay right now. I can't watch, so I won't.
